Sandwich Hand Attendant – Cafe Team

We are seeking experienced and passionate Sandwich Hand Attendant to join our cafe team and be a part of delivering memorable experiences for our members and guests. Located in Rose Bay with breathtaking 180° views across our new ‘Bay Course’ and gardens, we offer a dynamic work environment that combines world-class hospitality with sporting excellence.

About the Role

Reporting into the Cafe Manager you will be responsible for managing the sandwich bar operations ensuring orders are prepared accordingly and in line with RSGC standards and supporting the wider daily operations in the cafe.

This is a full-time position requiring availability to work during the week and on weekends.

Key Responsibilities

Sandwich Bar Operations

• Handling and preparing raw materials (deli meats, cheese, vegetables).
• Prepare and assemble sandwiches in line with recipes and RSGC standards.
• Reading & interpreting function sheets and takeaway orders to prepare required quantities of sandwiches.
• Support the Café Manager in the training of new or junior employees in the operations for the sandwich bar. 

Cafe Operations

• Set up and maintain front and back-of-house areas to a high standard, ensuring empty glasses, plates and cutlery are removed, wiping down tables.
• Provide five-star service with professionalism and strong attention to detail.
• Take accurate orders and ensure seamless service.
• Operate POS register.

What We’re Looking For

• 2 years’ experience as a Sandwich Hand/Café Attendant role in a similar setting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Passion for the hospitality industry.
• Motivated to learn new skills and techniques.
• Friendly, positive and energetic disposition with exceptional presentation standards.
• Previous food hygiene experience.
• Current NSW RSA Certificate and Food Handling Certificate. 
• Full working rights in Australia.
